Act 2-2(TimeSpace lvl 58)

Go to Sandra Brake and get the lvl 58 Kovolts and Catsy quest from her. Head for Right area of Mt. Krem and you enter Mountain Cave 5 from there. Once you get in the cave. follow the red arrow to Desolate Area. In there, you'll meet see a Time-Space and a Demon Servant. Talk to the demon and you'll get a hunting quest. All these monsters can be found in the cave and they're mostly dark element so a light element would be best. It will probably take around 10-30 minutes depending on how fast you can kill them.

Hunt
  • 30 Squeky Skulletons
  • 10 Underground Hogs
  • 10 Dustdeath
  • 10 Wigglers

After you've finished, hit the rewards and talk to the demon servant again. After receiving the pick axe go talk to Sandra Brake. Now, mine shining crushed rock from the shining rock . The rock can be found on the left area of Mt. Krem. Take a look at my position on the mini map if you still can't find it. Luckily you don't have to mine anything. Take it back to Sandra and she'll ask for 30 High Quality Rags. I believe you can get these from the G2 minigames. Of course it's always easier to just buy them, which is what I did. They're fairly common in the private shop area. Get 31 of em as you will need an extra one for the future.

Give the rags to Sandra and you'll get the shining plastic hat. Then, go back to Mountain Cave 5 and give it to the Demon Servant. You'll get the quest for Time-Space lvl 58, which is right next to you ^_^. Enter when you're ready.

Time-Space items:

Draw items: 3slot Luxurious Diamond Bracelet

Special: Gillion stone

Bonus: Crape, Sound Flower

Monsters Encountered: Warepard(53), Dark-sling(54), Lanetan(55), Sick Strawee(56), Wolf(57), Weak Skulleton(57), Hog(58), Mountain Turtle(58), Lion wolf(60), Toxi spider(57), Spider(58), Agi toxi spider(59), Spider King(60)

There's kind of a mini boss fight in this one. It can be challenging if you're not careful, especially since someone at Entwell decided to incorporate a 5 second pot delay lol... Once you get in, go right to start the mission.

1. Go right another room. Fight monsters for 12 minutes. If you find them to be to tough, stay off to the side and fight them a little at a time.

2. Go right 2 rooms and you'll be in a fight with the spider king. As soon as you get in, attack him. It's better to kill him off early. Most likely he'll suck you right in. He'll kill you if you're not careful. He's a Dark Element so light will work nicely on him. Also he has -20% water resistance. After you finish him off, you'll have to fight spiders until the timer runs out. Hang in there ^^.
3. Exit the Time-Space.

Once you've exited, hit the rewards. You'll receive the small hand mirror. Go talk to Sandra and she'll tell you to take a high quality rag and go to twilight cliff. To get to twilight cliff go to Right area of Mt. Krem. There, you will find a map called "Peak of Mt. Krem", which is where you'll find the "Twilight Cliff" map. Enter the map and talk to the red stone.

Go talk to Sandra once again to make the red mask. This mask can actually be bought from Raul I think, but for the main quest, just go along with it. After you've received the mask, go to Mountain Cave 2, which can be found on Left area of Mt. Krem. Once you get in the cave, follow the red arrow to another map called Misty Valley, which is where you'll find foggy giants. As the name suggests, it's very foggy lol. If you've already done the lvl 55+ specialist quest, you've fought these guys already. If you haven't fought them yet, be cautious and kill them one by one. Mobbing is not recommended unless you're some pro who can bulldoze through anything in your way.

Make sure you have th
e red mask equipped while hunting the giants as it will help you to resist some of their negative buffs.

Hunt
  • 20 Foggy Giants

Hit the rewards once you're done hunting and you'll get the Time-Space lvl 58 quest. Enter the Time-Space that's on the same map when you're ready.

You're going to have to fight Kenel in this one but it's still fairly easy and simple.

1. Right to start the mission.

more to come...

The Land of Death

First off, LOD is a great place to train. This is why you have lvl 50s reaching their 80s within 2-3 weeks with the help of blessings and leeching in their party. This is also why you have the level 80+ high levels whining because it took them a whole year to accomplish that feat. ^_^

Land of Death or LOD for short is a map that's accessible to players in a family. According to the Nostale story, this is supposed to be the final goal/level of the game where the Adventurer goes and defeats Dark Horn and his legion of demons. Sort of like a last level if you will.

Where is it Located?

The entrance to LOD is on the "Twilight Cliff" map, which can be entered from the "Peak of Mt Krem" map, which can be entered from the "Right area of Mt. Krem" map ^_^(I can go on but I assume you know where the Right area of Mt. Krem is). Once you get to Twilight Cliff, you can enter through the Gate of Deadly Ground.

When does it open?

LOD is not open all the time. It opens at 2:00 am/pm Nostale time. To see the Nostale time, just go to their website. I believe it's GST. It closes at 119 where it will kick the players out. At 179 The DH aka Dark Horn will appear. If the player dies during the Dark Horn spawns, the LOD will not be accessible until the next LOD time which is why fos is so important(discussed in a bit).

What kind of items drop?

These are the items I've see dropped by the various monsters.

Note: Some of these items only drop during Dark Horn Spawn.

Fountain of Savior. Seed of Chaos. Big potions(HP/MP/Entire). Good/Ancient Oriharcon Ring/Bracelet/Necklace. Lvl 63 weapons (Slayer, Orb of Spirit, Siege Bow). Flame Shoes. Cellon(lvl3-6) from what I've seen. Gillion Stone. Soul Gem/Whole Soul Gem. Sp charger/Instant Sp charger.

What kind of monsters do you face in LOD?

The monsters in LOD are quite difficult, being all lvl 75+. They are quite numerous and easy to mob which is why it's such a great training place. You won't have to many people soloing in LOD. I would be surprised if even a level 99 could solo there. All of the monsters are agro so if you get near them, they will chase you till you're dead. Or if you just run really fast lol.

Monsters

Born Devil(75)- The most common type of monster in LOD. They are basically skeletons with a ranged attack that hurt. They are also the quickest runners in LOD. They are darkness element.

Skull Drake(77)- Dragon with high resistance, similar to the Fire Drake except they're smaller and don't hurt as much. They are neutral element.

Fire Drake- Dragon of fire element similar to the skull drake. They can take you out quite quickly if you don't have any fire resistance. Though dangerous, they drop some nice items such as flame shoes that give 8% fire resistance.

Death Lander(80)- I consider this guy a mini boss. He's pretty tough. He's basically a stronger version of Kartos from the lvl 55+ Specialist quest. He's water element. There are a couple on the map. Don't try to fight him head on without water resistance and a mage backing you up.

Giant Knight(82)
- A mini boss within the LOD. If you've finished the lvl 55+ specialist quest, this guy is similar to the Hell Guard(the big knight with a shield and sword) except he's a lot stronger and meaner. He is neutral element. I believe there are 3 of them on the map.

Dark Horn(85)- Finally, I'd like you to meet Dark Horn. This is what he looks like without all those flames. He's the big boss within the LOD and he's huge, mean and apparently has a short temper. He is fire element and he will incinerate, burn, scorch, turn you crispy and kill you if you don't have ample fire resistance. He appears when the timer hits 179. He disappears after a minute and reappears around every 4 minutes until the timer hits 122. No one has actually defeated him yet. Maybe you can be the first (^_~).

LOD basics and tips

This is a picture of Fountain of Savior or FoS for short. Fos drop from the monsters in LOD. They become very useful during Dark Horn spawn. These can automatically revive a player on the spot when a player dies in LOD. When a player dies in LOD and a fos is available in the inventory, it will ask if the player would like to use a fos. If you pick yes, a fos will be used and the player will be revived with full health and no negative effects. All buffs will be gone however.

Before you go into LOD, you need some dark resistance to survive. Of course the more the better but around 70-80% should let you take decent amount of hits. Also, during Dark Horn spawn, you're going to want some fire resistance to take hits from him if he goes after you. When I had about 70% fire resistance, I think DH did about 2-3k damage to me. That should be enough for you to high tail it out of there.

A typical LOD attack force will be consisted of Wild Keepers, Holy Mages and Crusaders, which are all light element. This is because the Born Devils(which have -10% light resistance) will mainly be the monsters that are mobbed. If any other specialist comes into LOD, they will usually be useless and considered leeches(does nothing and get's free exp) or lurers(lures the mobs to the attackers).

Wild Keepers will usually dish out the most damage in LOD. The crusader's level 20 skill, Concentrate can be helpful as it can blackout the mobs at an 80% rate. Holy Mages basically heal. On occasion, they use their level 20 hammer skill if the mobs aren't gone. Effective healers are quite valuable as it takes some skill to know who and when to heal.

Here's what typically happens during an LOD session

1. The players will all wait in a certain area of the map. It doesn't matter as long as the monsters aren't to difficult for the players.
2. A lurer will go out and lure a certain number of monsters. Usually the more players there are, more monsters will be lured. If the lurer lures more than the players can handle, the players will all die and this will just slow things down.
3. The event above will happen until the timer hits 179. At this time, the DH will start to spawn. The spawning of DH is random. It will pick any player and torch him/her when it spawns. No one has defeated the DH as of yet and most people don't even bother with it so....
  • Usually during this time, the players will trap the DH in the safe zone(the safe zone is an area near the entrance, before the big dragon mouth). This is typically accomplished by having all the players standing in the safe zone until the DH spawns, at which time all the players will run out of the safe zone and continue to mob and kill monsters
  • The DH will dissappear after 1 minute and reappear about every 4 minutes until 122, at which time it will stop spawning.
  • During the DH spawning time, all monsters in LOD give x3 exp.
  • Monsters will drop nicer items...
  • At 119, all players will be kicked out of LOD. I have a little theory. There's 119 minutes left when the players are kicked out. Perhaps, if the DH is defeated, the players will be allowed to stay in LOD until the timer runs to 0. And maybe, it'll be x6 exp.. O_O Just some food for thought. ^_^
  • Yes blessing works in LOD. So if you use it during the x3 DH time it will be x6.

Refined Gold Necklace!

I've actually already posted this in the walkthrough, but I'll post it in a separate post because it seems to stump many beginning players. The Refined Gold Necklace! This is a quest very early on in the game. When I first started off this game they did not have this feature so I had to create a new character to actually do it, but here's what you do when you get the quest to make it.

Open up your inventory. Then double-click the production tools for adventurer that you just got from Eril and make the refined gold necklace. To do that drag, the simple gold necklace you have in your inventory and drag it to the slot where the material's supposed to be. Hope this picture clears things up a little.

Jajamaru

This is the Jajamaru specialist, obtained from the Jajamaru Specialist Quest. Anybody can use him regardless of their basic class. He's actually a Nintendo character from the Jajamaru Kun game. I guess Nostale decided to incorporate him into the game. Unfortunately, there isn't a girl version of Jajamaru. So ladies, you'll look like a chubby boy ninja in red while in this form ^_^. Other than that, Jajamaru is nothing to special. He's pretty much only useful in chicken and namaju raids because if his avatar skill. It's a shame the game creators didn't work on his skills to much.

Pajama

The pajama can be obtained from the 27+ Pajama Specialist Quest. This is a specialist anyone can use regardless of their basic class. Even though they are cute a cuddly, they aren't used for much lol. They're mostly for looks and fun. Their skills consist of cute little acts like sleeping and dancing and what not. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend mobbing a group of monsters with the Pajama. ^_^
